Research area
My research deals with variational methods for quasi-periodic solutions of dynamical systems. Apart from the minimizers provided by classical Aubry-Mather theory, I am interested in saddle points of the action functional, which I want to study using Morse-Conley theory. Applications arise in twist maps, convex billiards, reaction-diffusion equations and Lagrangian mechanics.
