Prof. Aad van der Vaart is new member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences

The KNAW advises the government on developments in science, stimulates (inter)national scientific cooperation, and is active in evaluating the quality of scientific research.

Professor Aad van der Vaart also received the highly esteemed invitation as invited speaker for a presentation at the International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM 2010).
