eHealth

The Masterclass eHealth at the VU University Amsterdam is a Postdoctoral course of five days about the possibilities of eHealth. The masterclass is in Dutch.

At a time when financial cuts hit the health services, the question is: can we optimize health care processes in order to make them faster, more efficient and less expensive, without reducing the quality?

The answer is: yes! eHealth aims to improve health care by utilizing ICT applications to improve quality and efficiency, both in medical centers and through preventive measures. Another advantage is that patients obtain better insight in and more control over their health issues.
