Postdoc positions in Stochastics
Usually several postdoc positions are available in the
Section Stochastics
of the Vrije Universiteit.
The duration of a postdoc position is typically two or three years.
There is a very limited number of open postdoc positions and a larger
number of positions funded by e.g. the Dutch Science Foundation NWO.
Requirements are:
- Ph. D. degree in statistics, probability, mathematics or econometrics,
typically obtained not longer than 5 years ago.
- Strong interest in a subject related to the research projects of the
Stochastics group.
- Strong research potential, proven by a strong Ph.D. thesis and/or
publications.
