IWOTA 2014 will be held from July 14 to July 18, 2014 at the VU University in Amsterdam. This is the week after MTNS 2014 , which will be held in Groningen.
During the conference there will be two special days, one on the occasion of the 80th birthday of Dima Arov, and one on the occasion of the 65th birthday of Leiba Rodman.

You can pick up your conference materials during pre-registration which is possible at hotel CASA 400 on Sunday July 13 from 17:00 to 20:00, or at any time during the conference at the VU Sciences building at the registration desk in M 0. The registration desk will open on Monday July 14 at 08:00.

Venue
The conference will be held in the building of the Faculty of Sciences at VU University. The buildings are marked "W & N" in the map below. The entrance is at De Boelelaan 1081 or 1085. The location is easily reached from anywhere in Amsterdam, by tram (lines 5, 16, 24), bus line 55 ( warning to those familiar with Amsterdam: metro line 51 will not be operating at the time of the conference, it is replaced by bus line 55 between Amstel station and VU university) , or bus (besides the buslines marked on the map, lines 170 and 172 stop near the university at the Amstelveense weg). The conference location is in the southern part of the city, and can be reached from Schiphol airport via a short train ride (to station Amsterdam Zuid).

Registration
Registration: please fill in the form below to register. Registration will only take effect fully once payment of the conference fee is received.Conference Fee
The conference fee will be 235 euros. This includes the conference dinner, and a 6 day ticket for use in bus, tram and metro within Amsterdam. It does not include the conference excursion.Final information on the excursion will be made available soon, the current plan is to have a guided tour through the Rijksmuseum (costs: 20 euro per person).
The cost for an additional dinner ticket is 72 euro. When making payment please make sure to include any additional dinners and payment for the excursion.

There is a limited possibility to apply for support
from the organizers.
This will never amount to more
than waiving the registration fee.

is open for participants from Ukrain, India, Africa

Preference will be given to PhD students and postdocs.

Hotels
Participants are requested to make their own hotel reservations, with the exception of invited plenary and semi-plenary speakers, for whom a reservation will be made in hotel Casa 400. This hotel has a good bus connection (line 55) to the VU-university. It is located next to Amsterdam Amstel station, one of the (many) train stations in Amsterdam. The hotel has good connections to the city centre as well, via metro, and a direct tram connection (line 12) to the museum quarter. The hotel is recommended to other participants as well. Special sessions will be organized by invitation of the organizers. Suggestions for special sessions may be put to the organizers. Such a suggestion should contain: title and short description of the special session, with a tentative list of speakers to be invited. Contributed talks will be considered. Interested persons are requested to send in a title and abstract not later than April 1. Please prepare title and abstract in standard Latex, using the template below and submit ONLY THIS TEMPLATE (so not whatever you have to add before, and after the template to make it run in Latex) via the IWOTA 2014 email account.
There will be a special session of contributed talks on Concrete Operators.

Program
The morning program will consist of a one-hour plenary lecture followed by two semi-plenary lectures (two or three in parallel). After the lunch break, from 13:30 to 18:00 there will be parallel sessions. Lectures in parallel sessions are 25 minutes each.
