Research description

My field of research is Hamiltonian dynamics and symplectic geometry, with emphasis on modern PDE methods such as Gromov-Witten en Floer theory. Over the last two years I have developed a new approach to make the holomorphic curve tools of modern symplectic topology applicable to infinite-dimensional Hamiltonian dynamical systems such as the nonlinear Schrodinger equation.
