I am a mathematical biologist working on a variety of theoretical problems in the life sciences, including
systems biology, evolutionary biology and behavioural and community ecology. I specialise in the use
of differential equations, but generally try to apply the right mathematical framework to bring insight into the biological problem.
Recently I am focusing more on systems biological questions, such as improving analytical methods to study
bifurcation structure in metabolic pathways, optimising reaction fluxes under constraints, stochasticity in signal transduction, and so on.
